Honoring the Life and Legacy of
Marc A. Savarese

Biography
Marc Anthony Savarese (May 31, 1996 – October 24, 2022) was a big presence in this world in every way – physically, socially, and emotionally. His smile would light up any room he entered. Marc touched the hearts of many and will be missed by his parents, Karen and David; his siblings, Leemari, Richie, and Chris; his grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and many members of his biological family.
Marc loved to have a good time and to experience new adventures. His recent move to NJ was a new chapter that he was very proud of. Marc’s greatest loves were music and animals. He was an amazing caregiver through the years to his dogs, Domino and Bonnie, and the many small pets that were part of our household. He is proudest of his jobs in Animal Care – most recently at Camp Bow Wow in Midland Park, NJ. He was so proud of the strong connection that he made with the animals that he cared for.
Marc loved children and was a great role model for many of his friends’ children. He was a great son, sibling, and friend. He loved fiercely with everything he had and was always present for those in his world. Marc was tremendously fun. A day with Marc was unpredictable and always brought a smile to your face.
Marc and his family had a lot of great times and have a lot of wonderful memories. He did a lot of living in 26 years. This last year was one of Marc’s happiest. He was thrilled to move to NJ to be with his girlfriend. He was proud of his jobs in security and animal care and his ability to save and plan for his move and his new car. He was at peace with who he was and truly enjoying the man he was becoming.
He will be missed greatly. We ask that you hold on to your best memories of Marc and celebrate his amazing life. We hope that you will take the time to share a memory of Marc either here in the guest book or during the virtual reception of his celebration of life.

Marc is a bright light and happy guy. He always had a beautiful smile every time we visited (and usually hugging Domino). I don’t know why God takes such kind and beautiful people like Marc so young. I have only happy memories of such a great guy. You’ll certainly be missed Marc. Love, Uncle Joe & Aunt Nita
Hi Joe and Nita,

Karen and Dave
The English language lacks the word necessary to accurately convey the burning I feel in my heart for the loss I now have to endure. You were more then just a brother you were a friend a confidant we laughed at each other and together loved together and each other we bonded our hearts together in an effort to better take the punches the world kept throwing at us and now I have to do all that without you and I’m a weaker man today without you, you made a difference in my life I was looking forward to the next couple of years. it really looked like thing were getting better. I don’t even feel like I’m in my own body anymore. I take back everything I ever told the world we always lacked because now it feels like we were never afforded any slack. You deserved better, I’ll carry you in my heart always because that all I can do.
Richie,
Marc’s loss leaves a tremendous hole in all of our hearts. Try to take comfort in the strong bond you had and fun and comfort you gave each other during his too short life. He will live on in our memories and hearts.

We were all so happy to have Marc join our team recently. From his first day, it was obvious how much he cared about the dogs, others, and his job. He greeted everyone with a smile and warmth. We may not have known him long but will definitely remember him. Sending our thoughts and condolences to all who knew Marc during this time.
Hi Shayna,
